The Desert Driller is the fourth boss in Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity. The Lyoko Warriors need to defeat this boss in order to destroy the Desert Replika. It also appears in Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A..
This boss has 3 stages.
In the first stage, it is embedded in the ground. It can cause flames in the ground, has energy shots, and can be destroyed by using Aelita or Yumi to target its shoulders.
In the next stage, it still uses energy shots, but can only be targeted after it uses the Ring Laser, and only at one target on its belly. The second stage also gives it the ability to attack with tunneling arms. Anyone can be used for this stage, but Ulrich is the most optimal, ignoring any enhancements.
The final stage is different. In this stage, it is moving on its 4 legs, and still uses energy weapons. It will also try to step on the player. Yumi is required here, although Aelita will theoretically work. To damage the monster, target all 4 knees simultaneously, and shoot them. This will call the monster to fall, revealing a point that allows for more serious damage. Ulrich is optimal for this point. This point will only be reachable for a finite period of time, after which the monster will start attacking again.
