Due to William being permanently merged with X.A.N.A. after they destroyed Lyoko, he was given a human-like vision which would be different than other victims like the animals who see with the symbol at the center shrouded in a machine-like background. With X.A.N.A. able to see almost like a human can, it can see farther than what William could and process surrounding images for specific uses, namely combat similar to Aelita's Second Sight. This perspective was only seen in Opening Act and it's a mystery what else it could do for "them".
Most fans refer it as Far Sight. However, the official name is given in the Facebook game.
