Very little information is known about Antea Sheaeffer. In the events during The Key, she is an unnamed pink-haired woman, which explains where Aelita's pink hair came from. After dying of unknown causes (speculations run about Men In Black involvement), Aelita and Franz Hopper move to The Hermitage and later virtualize themselves to Lyoko. Her real name is Antea Hopper.

The Project Carthage folder also includes a photo of her skiing pregnant. This gives an idea of Carthage Project length.

Aelita once mentioned her in a subtle way during ep. 90: "Wrong Exposure", where she was fibbing to Principal Delmas. Aelita addresses her as "Anthea" rather than "Antea" which means the name "Antea" is a mispronounciation. This also tells us that Aelita knew her mother's first name.
